Aesthetics & Laser Treatment
Laser & Advanced Therapy Treatments
Excess or unwanted hair is a problem that affects both men and women. Most people spend years using up both time and money on waxing, plucking or shaving. The results simply don’t last long enough and can also be followed by ingrown hairs or painful rashes. Here at Enhance Aesthetics & Beauty we offer laser technology using the amazing Cynosure Elite (an advanced and medical graded machine) to effectively treat areas of unwanted hair and prevent hair growth (reducing or even eliminating the need to shave, pluck or wax)
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed will vary depending on the area being treated, and how quickly and effectively your body reacts to the laser treatment. As a general rule we say that 6-8 sessions are recommended to be had at 4-6 week intervals.
What do I need to expect from my Consultation?
All treatment starts with a consultation and patch test with our specialist. She will be able to look at the area and give you more detail including how it works, what results to expect and how many sessions you will need. Before your consultation make sure to allow any hair to grow slightly. Once you test patch has been done, your treatment can be booked from a few days later.
What is the difference between IPL and Advanced Laser?
The key difference between the two treatments is the IPL uses a broad spectrum of high intensity light, which is emitted at multiple wavelengths, whereas laser emits a single, focused and precise wavelength thats optimised fort maximum follicle absorption.
A £20 charge for a consultation will be applied which is redeemable upon having treatment.

(IPL or Alexandrite)
Brown patches on the skin are generally caused by sun damage. Our Laser practitioner can easily treat this for you. You will have a thorough consultation, when the science behind the treatment can be explained in detail and you can voice any concerns. The skin underneath can be slightly pink but within a few weeks it will appear normal without the dark patch. Depending on the individual, 2 or 3 treatments are recommended. Our practitioner will advise you of the best way forward for you.
Will there be any side effects?
After treatment, the area will be temporarily darker, and a crust will then form on the skin which must be allowed to fall off without help!
What do I need to expect from my first treatment/consultation?
A thorough consultation and patch test will be offered by our practitioner during which she will discuss all aspects of the treatment ranging from how it works, how many sessions will be required and what the potential side effects are. Treatment can be booked 24 hours later.
Deep brown marks tend to respond best to treatment compared to lighter marks. Price of treatment very much depends on the size, colour and location of the area.

Thread Vein Removal
(IPL or ND.Yag Laser)
Laser Thread Vein removal is the most effective treatment currently available for removing Facial Thread Veins. It is a quick and easy treatment. Typically, it takes 20-30 mins and most facial thread veins can be removed in just 2-3 treatment sessions.
We used IPL or Laser to effectively treat vessels on the cheeks and nose. This can also be combined for some clients with one or two sessions of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy to remove any background redness and flushing.
What do I need to expect from my Consultation?
Your practitioner will start off with some general questions about your skin and then the expected results, number of sessions required, potential side-effects and costs will all be discussed with you in full. You will then need to have a patch test and treatment can be booked from a few days later.
What should I expect after my treatment?
You may appear slightly red and flushed soon after your treatment, however these usually subside after a few hours. We also recommend avoiding the use of makeup directly after treatment, as your skin will be slightly tender. High factor sunscreen is essential if going in any sun.
Thread veins on the leg can sometimes respond well to treatment. This decision can be made at your consultation.

Laser Tattoo Removal
Using a specially designed high power Q-Switched Nd:Yag system that has been developed for the sole purpose of laser tattoo removal. The laser works by destroying the pigment using a specific wavelength of light specific to that colour.
How many treatments will be required and how much will it cost?
The number of sessions and cost very much depends on the tattoo size, location, colour and your skin type. Multiple sessions are needed and some colours are easier to treat than others. This will all be discussed at your initial consultation.

Dermaroller stimulates the skin’s collagen to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier and younger-looking skin. It can break down scar tissue and stretch marks successfully as well as tightening and firming older skin.
Your practitioner will use a device to produce thousands of micro-medical needle-columns into the skin. Each column will penetrate the dermis of the skin and close rapidly enabling the skin to recover quickly. Anaesthetic numbing cream will be applied to the skin around 30mins prior to treatment.
On average, a minimum of 2-3 sessions done once every 6 weeks is necessary to achieve optimum results
Single Treatment £150
Course of 3 (Recommended) £380
Botulinum Toxin Type A
In this procedure toxins (neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium) are injected into the skin which block signals from the nerves to the muscles. This causes temporary relaxation of the muscles. In facial and neck muscles this helps to smoothen the lines caused by muscular activity and to contour the lower face and neck. However, static facial lines such as those caused by sun damage or volume loss, will not respond to this.
These injections are made simple and almost painless using very fine needles. You should start seeing improvements in 2 to 3 days; however, the full effects can take up to 30 days. The benefits of the treatment can last between 4-6 months. Shorter duration of effects may be observed in some, due to resistance to the toxin.
You will get a free follow up appointment 2-4 weeks after your treatment for any top ups if necessary. Toxin treatments are popular with men as well as women. In fact, the popularity seems to be rising in men!
Common areas where toxin injections are used include:
Eyes (Crows Feet)
Forehead & Frown lines

2 Areas £250
3 Areas £300

(in some cases, your practitioner might recommend using a combination of dermal filler with Botulinum Injections to achieve the best results)
Fillers are generally used to improve volume and help in contouring the face. They can also enhance the hydration of the skin. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural component of the skin which helps to maintain its smoothness and elasticity. It is hydrophilic (absorbs water) and hence intensifies the moisturising effect and the suppleness of the skin.
The choice of filler used will depend upon the area being treated and what you are wanting to achieve.
Dermal fillers are used to enhance the hydration of the skin and maintain its smoothness and elasticity. This is a relatively quick treatment that can be performed with or without a local anesthetic/numbing cream. They can also be used to replace lost fat and plump out areas that have come to look somewhat gaunt e.g. cheeks and hollow temples. A client can have fillers to fill and change the shape of their lips, chin, jaw or their nose.
Lip Fillers can create fuller lips and correct droopy corners of the mouth. It is tailored to meet your expectation be it subtle or a more voluptuous effect. This is a quick procedure and can be performed with or without local anaesthetic/numbing cream. The results are usually instant. There could be some initial swelling which settles very quickly after treatment.

Thread Lift helps to improve the contour by non-surgical lifting of the skin with absorbable PDO threads. It remodels the skin and stimulates the production of collagen which in turn will restore its youthful nature. The effects can last up to 18months, with improvement beginning to show from week 6 following the procedure. There are various areas this treatment can be used for which include:
Face – The larger threads are very effective in treating jowls and marionette lines of the lower face by tightening the skin and lifting it.
Brow lifts, crow’s feet, smile lines and tear troughs – Small threads can be used where the toxin or filler treatment have not given the desired effects. They can also be used for marionette lines and jowls. Threads can be used alone or in combination with fillers and PRP treatment to enhance the effect.
Neck – Helps to tighten the skin of the neck and improve vertical or horizontal lines. This also can be supplemented with toxin, filler, plasmatherapy, mesotherapy or skin peels.
Arm – Reduce the appearance of ‘wings’ caused by loose skin in the upper arm
The procedure – It can take from 45 minutes to an hour depending on the number of threads used. There is a follow up at week 2 and week 6 week, followed by a 6 months’ check-up.
(Price will vary depending on the desired result and areas being treated)
This involves injecting the skin with hyaluronic acids fortified with vitamins and amino acids to improve the appearance of dehydrated or sun damaged skin. It helps to hydrate the skin and soften the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation. Mesotherapy can also be performed using blood plasma, which is proven to boost the wound healing and collagen formation of the skin. The areas treated include:
Dark circles around the eyes
Back of the hand
The procedure – Mesotherapy can be administered by very fine injections or using a Dermaroller™ or Dermapen™. It is usually undertaken as a course of treatment a few weeks apart to give the best results, although there is no limit to the number of treatments. It is usually painless.

Platelet Rich Plasma Rejuvenation (PRP)
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) rejuvenation – PRP has been used in wound healing in many specialities of medicine. Plasma extracted from your blood contains cells called platelets that produce growth factors which help wound healing. When PRP is injected into the skin, it stimulates new collagen production and enhances your cells to regenerate making it an anti-ageing treatment. It can be used in combination with a Derma roller™ or mixed with Dermal fillers, vitamins and antioxidants for a more superior result. It can be used everywhere on the body- hair loss, face, neck, décolletage, knees, elbows, stretch marks, wounds and scars.
The procedure – A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm and placed in a centrifuge. The spinning of this blood separates the red cells from the plasma which is rich in platelets. This plasma is then extracted and injected back into the desired area. As this uses client’s own blood product and is performed under sterile conditions there is only very minimal risk of allergic reactions or complications, short term or long term.
The results – There could be mild swelling initially. The smoothness of the skin and change in pigmentation are seen noticeable within a month. Over the next few months the platelets release the growth factors stimulating collagen growth which can take up to 3 months. Response varies between individuals but most conditions will need up to three sessions at least 4-6 weeks apart. However, there is no limit to the number of sessions you can have. Regular top ups can maintain the results for longer.
The whole procedure can take 30 -45 minutes
